ANNUAL ARCHIVING SALE! // 20% OFF SCANNING, VIDEO/FILM TRANSFERS, AND MORE ENDS OCTOBER 31ST

Preserving video memories for future generations.

You can count on our team of video experts to properly archive your memories from almost any video format. We work with VHS tapes, Compact VHS tapes, Hi-8, Digital 8 and Mini-DV. BETAMAX (Consumer Beta) and Pro tape services are also available by quote.

Always handled with care:

Each and every item is hand-digitized by our team, right here in our store. All audio media is first inspected, repaired and then cleaned in preparation for the transfer process. Proper handling of this media is a very important first step, as old records, reels and tapes can become brittle over time. Our experienced technicians are trained to properly handle vintage audio media and can splice or repair existing breaks or cracks.

Digitized for today’s technology:

Your home video memories will get new life as digital movie files. Those files can be played on TVs, computers, tablets and phones. Plus they can easily be shared with fellow family members or friends. Once the video is digitized – you’ll receive all your original media back, along with perfectly preserved copies on thumb drive or DVD’s. Then, gather the family, grab some popcorn, and begin the trip down memory lane. Tissues not included.

TAPE TO DVD TRANSFER (for consumer video tapes, excluding Betamax)

DVD’s are delivered in slim library cases with an insert you may write on. Along with our logo, information from your video tape is printed on the front of your DVD, subject to space and legibility.

TAPE TO MP4 TRANSFER

Your tapes are converted to MP4 video files for viewing and archiving on both PC and MAC computers, mobile devices and cloud storage. For file only conversions, estimate 5¼ GB per two hour tape.

HD MINI-DV

This transitional format can be transferred to DVD within the above pricing tiers. NOTE: This format is not common, and we do not currently have a player for these tapes. So we must have your camera (and accompanying power and video cords) for the transfer.
