Every film transfer begins with a gentle cleaning process to remove dust and debris. Your reels are then scanned frame-by-frame using a high-resolution organic LED scanner—delivering professional results without flicker or blur.
You can choose from MP4, MOV, or AVI file formats, ideal for editing or sharing. This can be loaded onto a USB and/or sent to you via email using a file sharing service called WeTransfer. Your original reels are always returned after digitizing. You will never be charged for film that is blank or too damaged to scan!
Each film reel is carefully inspected and cleaned before any scanning begins.
Your reel is hand processed on an organic LED scanner for the highest possible image quality.
Finished files are delivered as MP4, MOV, or AVI on USB, DVD, or digital download.

What film types can you transfer?
We work with 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm film reels. If you’re unsure what type you have, refer to the sizing guide above or bring it into our store for help.
What file format will I receive?
We can provide your digitized movies in MP4, MOV, or AVI format. MP4 is the most universal and recommended for most users.
Do you charge for blank film or leader?
No! You are only charged for usable footage. We do not include blank leader, countdowns, or film between splices in your footage total.
Is the original film returned to me?
Absolutely. Your original reels are returned safely after the digitizing process is complete.
Can I edit the video afterward?
Yes. Your digital files can be used in any standard video editing software. We recommend requesting MP4 or MOV if you plan to edit.
